what a beautiful place nana, is your daughter going to get married there?

i have been a couple of times its inspiring!! i love that acer and that climbing plant at the beginning. the green around the water is just gorgeous.

Hi Sticki yes truly beautiful have taken a lot more pics but they are taking so long to upload I will have to put them on in stages. Yes Laura is getting married there on August 31st next year so exciting they have a wonderful function room and another room where the wedding ceremony takes place and a large room in the basement where the band/disco is held all really lovely and very expensive but her hubby to be is paying for most of it bless him:)

sounds like your daughter is marrying a very generous and kind man!!!

how very lovely, i think its really important that they feel comfortable and really like the place where it is held, that was the case for both my sons and it works beautifully when it all comes together like that.

Lovely Gardens Nana...Pics can be tricky sometimes can't they.. I have to resize all of mine before hand. :)

Ah yes ... Compton Acres - a wonderful place. I remember going there many years ago. Always wanted to go back but never did :o(

It is quick for me to resize mine Nana, but I know that the site I use you cant get now.. the only reason I can still use it appears to be a glitch in the system. I'm not sure what Sticki uses but I know she has to resize almost everything as well..come on Sticki help out :))

Lovely venue!

We go to Poole each year and love Compton Acres, the view from the top across to Brownsea Island and the Purbeck hills is stunning on a sunny day, what a wonderful place for a wedding

sorry was working this morning!

i have to right click on every one of my pictures and choose the edit option then resize ~ you can do this in amount of pixels or percentage of size, anything you like i think. i take the number of pixels from around 3,400 to 999 that always works!!! does take a while though.
i think stevie knows how to re-size several at once but i dont know how ~ sorry.

beautifull place nana and lovely for a wedding. bet you cant wait,

Thanks everyone and Sticki thank you for your advice re resizing will give that a go:) Hopefully tomorrow I will give it a try as I am out tonight:))
