my concrete elephant chimnea never really worked like I wanted it to thow the idea was ok . I decided to break it up and recycle it into a new fire pit that I welded together and a new tree stump plant pot support .

Brilliant Leigh love the pit fire and the sculpter, you could put a pot of grass top of his head.

I'll miss the elephant but if it didn't do it for you then that's the best thing to do.
Love the tree stump :o)

Excellent! Have you ever thought of selling any of your creations, Leigh?

I think they would go very well, Leigh. I have lots of extras in my garden (a bit more commonplace than yours!) and I think lots of people enjoy interesting things in the garden. And your sculptural products are certainly interesting! Your toadstools would sell like hot cakes, I bet!

Aha! I might go for a toadstool, but I think the transport would be too much! Best of luck, though - you could corner the market in most interesting artefacts!

the toadstools are easy I can talk you through them if ya want . I wouldn't want to be stuck doing one thing melch .

That's very kind of you, Leigh. I might take you up on it!
I imagine retail success could bring its problems. I have heard of people who have been thrilled to get a contract to produce something but who ended up very sorry they had ever started down that road.

Well, I always have good intentions about these things, Leigh! So far it seems to have been a year of one event after another ( mostly happy, I'm glad to say). I haven't even been on GoY as much as usual. At least I've found time for some gardening, though!

Is there a hollow for a plant pot on top of his head? As he's looking upwards you'll need something spectacular in the pot for him to see! Howl ong did it take to make him?(Sorry to see the elephant go though...)
