I had to sadly break up my first ever sculpture and a lot of plants in my front garden to get my new fish tank in my living room . the up side is I will use the broken concrete to make something new in the garden when my old tank has gone and I have the fish tank of my dreams and I will replant .

Ah Leigh what a shame But if it means having your hearts desire thats a small price to pay for it ,we'll look forward to seeing the next master piece in its place , what are you going to put in the tank its big enough for a Shark Lol xx

Gosh Leigh, what devastation - you must really really have wanted that fish tank! Have you got a replanting plan?

That's a shame about your statue Leigh, I do love fish tanks though :) I have two tanks at the moment myself and I'm in the middle of stripping down a Discus setup, That's a nice size tank mate what fish are you thinking of keeping?

Are you on a slab or do you have a subfloor or basement? If you have either of the latter you might need extra floor support. One gallon of water is about eight pounds I think. How many gallons is your tank?

hello people
this tank cost the shop £6000 to install and cost me £600 plus a couple of hundred with friends help to get in . I was gutted to knock everything down but wanted and needed the tank more as I already have a 6`x30"x30" tank and the fish are outgrowing it . I have them both at the moment so I can take my time . its on a solid base downstairs as it will weigh upwards of two tons . my old one weighs about nearly a ton and ive had it 17 years . I have all the parts of the old sculpture which is sentimental to me and I will use them in what ever I do in its place . I have a whole house to decorate as I came by some money for once first but I like to have time to think and look fo inspiration . thank you so much . ill come and see you soon amy xx

If you can NP please take a few pictures to show the progress setting up the inside of the tank....structures, filter pump etc thank you. By the weight you mentioned the tank holds about 260 gallons. You will probably do this first but I just thought to mention it, fill it up to max and let it set for a week to see if anything leaks before you begin your setup.

Nice to see you are still looking on the positive things in life. What was a lovely sculpture I'm sure will be replaced with nothing but greatness.
