one of my raised beds gets a lot of hot afternoon sun, the other almost constant shade…I’d like to plant flowers of the same colours on either side….any suggestions?

If I were you I'd browse the pages on here Pat, you'll be spoilt for choice, if you look through the A-Z you will be guided easier, for instance you'll find a list and pics of shade gardens and plants suitable for those areas...
