I know! It seems almost magical to be picking peaches in England!
I have one of them sitting in my kitchen ripening, and once I've enjoyed the eating of it, I will be planting the stone. It would be wonderful if it did as well as its parent :)

Wonderful and lots in your box my mum had a peach tree in her garden eventually it got this sticky stuff on its branches and died.

Wow, that is amazing! Such a pretty tree too. I remember as a small girl my Dad encouraged me to plant a peach stone, a small (and I mean Small) tree grew, but I can't remember what happened, i don't think it survived more than about a foot high.
