Another Rainy Day

It’s so wet outside after our week of dry spells. It’s stopped raining so I just opened the window and got a nice shot of my daffodils:
They’re really bright and in the evenings you can really see them shine out from the crowd.
I’ve also been growing cress indoors. My little sister wanted to grow some too so once back from the shops with my mum we got some of these egg cups:
The cress grows rapidly! My sister loves it.
I also realised some digitalis just springing up in my front garden today. Alongside it were some lupins which are also growing rapidly. And, my soil has finally warmed up! I’ve been out there nearly every day putting my hands on the soil and it’s been quite cold. Although, just yesterday, it was warmer and it had been getting warmer in air temperatures anyway so that’s good news. It’s a shame that it rained though, and it’s cold :( But we haven’t had frost for about two weeks which is pleasing.

The cress egg cups are cute....we had rain this morning but it's been sunny but not too warm this afternoon. So spent a little while in the garden tending to my pots and we went out for a little drive.
Hope you get some drier weather soon, Pany.

Don't worry Pany, it is a shame that Sunday is rainy again but there are lots of sunny ones ahead.

I love rain :) It makes everything glisten. I love to see shiny raindrops on everything, and I love to splash through puddles as I walk along :)
I love to see it coming down, and to hear it beating on the roof of my shed, or on the windows !
Most people don't like it. I can't understand why.
I hate cold sunshine. I can do nothing when we have that weather. I find cold temperatures so depressing. It's no good to me. I preffer mild rain :D
I think those eggcups are great lol

Daffodils always look more attractive following rain. I can confirm everything you say about the weather, as I live in the London area. We are going to have nice weather tomorrow.
