Paul-I love Heliopsis, but for some reason it won't grow in my border.
S-the Echinopsis doesn't look as big as it normally does.

Well, that is surprising.......we struggle to keep it under control in our clay soil. It went mad in my last garden and I had to chop some out every year and, now I've moved to this garden, the next door neighbours have some and it's kept under the fence so I dug it out but there are so many roots in the ground that I know it will start to shoot again later or next year!

Lovely and summery......very colourful.
It reminds me of my old garden(which I miss and which the new owners have allowed to turn into a wilderness)
I had A. Cloth of Gold,C. Lucifer some Heliopsis and Echinops((globe thistle) so, we obviously had very similar tastes when we planted our respective gardens .(Although, my new garden is completely different.....I just fancied trying something different but, a few plants came with me)
Enjoy all your colour.
