They all look good and the Alchemilla is such a vivid colour it really brightens up the garden. OH took a fancy to some Golden Rod when we were at the garden centre - he's not a gardener and I wasn't keen on it, having memories of a wild invasive plant. But.. you musn't put a non-gardener off when they are willing to buy a plant, so it came home. I must admit the modern ones are much better behaved than I remember and the colour is great, the bees and hover flies love it - so all good really!

I've never seen a dwarf one before - looks a lot more manageable, and very bright and cheerful.
That hollyhock is very attractive isn't it?

I love Alchimellia Molis.....frothy and glorious.
I thought I'd left mine all in my old garden but I noticed recently a little had seeded in one of my pots!

The benefits of a sunny garden are very apparent not many of those would flourish in my garden I am quite envious

The Golden Rod was from seed origionally,I can't remember the name exactly.Something like 'Golden Baby',but it doesn't seed around the garden and doesn't spread too much.
The Alchemilla seeds everywhere. These are in a slab path, along with the Salvia, which also seeds.
Brian,if we could swap gardens!

Phil there are times when I wish I could, Like now when so many trees and large shrubs need pruning.
Just bought myself a chainsaw pruner with a 10ft + reach when standing on the ground that will remove some of the lower branches, tried it once seems good if a bit heavy when fully extended. have to wait for the rain to go off to do more.
