A little light lawn care

Of course, the hose pipe ban was imposed last week, and what do we have this week? Rain.
After a couple of days of drizzle on and off, I decided to do the lawn – re-seeding the patches where the dog has wee’d, and feeding it with seaweed meal (that’s the lawn, not the dog). Felt very virtuous when it was done particularly as I had done it in the rain (fair weather gardener, me).
Decided to attach a couple of photos of the back garden, trying to capture the effect of the plum blossom in the ‘orchard’, only as it was such a grey day it hasn’t come out very clearly.
This is the corner by the pond – as usual it is a ‘work in progress’ (hence debris and random flower pots).

Well done Penny, you do have a lovely garden, I have my dog areas need fixing up as well but we had a lot more than drizzle and my reseeded patches would all have ended up floating away, not moaning though as we were desperate for that rain, just wish it hadn`t turned so blooming cold with it, gardens are always work in progress, you want to see my cubbyholes and whats hidden away, lol...

Thank you for the nice comments. The trees are wonderful particularly when they are blossoming - except they do create rather a lot of shade.

I'm glad you had some rain. Many places need it badly .... but not here, and it hasn't stopped all day long lol

We really needed the rain here so I'm grateful, even if it is distinctly chilly. And more rain forecast for the next few days..... At least the water butts will be full.
