they range in height but average height 12-18" in my garden. its a bulb by the way.

Mine have long finished, Sbg! I pulled the dead stems out on Friday! I suppose that's the North/South divide of climate!

i dont always but in recent months i have been keeping a record of what i have and where. i find the plant file part of goy fantastic for this. though i do have them in a book too, just in case. I am also planning to draw scale plans on A3 graph paper and record position of bulbs etc. dont know why i just fancy doing it.
