A pretty white flower that grows from a rhizome. new this year and i will be interested to see how it does.

i had heard of the st bernard lily but didnt know what it was. saw this fella at the Burton Agnes plant fair in june. the flower spike is about18" tall so its mid to front of the border. one of my friends grows it too and i didnt know until recently.

That's very nice - new to me as well! Is it in shade again? I like the shape.

no its in the sunny front border but over grown by a buddlea sp? that i always forget how wide it gets.
