Tipu is one of the most widely planted trees in San Diego.
It has apricot-colored flowers which bloom in late spring and summer. They grow extremely fast and huge to more than 60 feet / 20 meter tall. Photo taken at South Park- Balboa Park, San Diego, CA on July 26, 2009.

This is a small tree, with a fairly small spread. They can spread about 100 feet/ 31 meters.
