Slip of the typing fingers calling this plant an anemone, never had one of those in the garden. Apart from A very large Japanese Anemone. Super senior moment I fear. They are now back in full leaf and cyclamen next to it in full flower(mid October. Very dry under trees. I put a pile of leaves under a Camellia and they have sprouted amomng the leaves

I have a clump of Anemone Coum in a dry shady spot under a Hazel tree at the foot of a fence. They have bloomed very well and kept their leaves for a long time. Now the leaves have gone, and the fascinating seed cases, on their springy thingies, are folding back and spreading their contents. They have spread very well over about 4 years.
