Lovely and like your rope top edging ..

thanks, the edging was reclaimed . a friend was widowed and asked my hubby to clear the shed and garages. we found about 200 of them and knowing they had some value we told her she should sell them. she said her hubby had bought them for 20p each 30 yrs ago and we could have them for the same . she was adamant despite us telling her they were worth a lot more. but she said 20p each or she'd smash them up. so we took them and felt guilty for ages. she finally let us by her some shrubs for her garden.
I still have about 100 waiting to find a suitable home.

Yes they must have some value as repro ones cost a few pounds each.
I have a collection of them after clearing a garden and the guy couldnt pay me ..dont think he expected me to dig them up when told me to help myself to anything in the garden if only could have found his car keys ...

They are lovely Jane wants me to make a herb garden edged with them or even a herb wheel divided in segments to walk between with a square centre.

that sounds wonderful bonkersbon. a lot of my edges are curved and the straight ones are on to grass so i'm not sure how to use them.

If you think of the shape of a Maltese Cross and draw a circle with a square in the middle its possible to create four planting segments and four paths between as the tiles can be placed in to form gentle curves.

Hope that makes sense if not will just have to visit and do it for you lol

ys i can manage gentle curves as in this path edge. hubby made the pat with old bricks and i managed then. There is a front corner that needs totally doing over so i might use them there.
