Many headed sunflower

I have grown these sunflowers from seed and thought they were a dwarf variety but most are about 5' tall and others about 6 or 7'. Several are multi-headed like this one. I have removed one head but there is still three open and three more to come.

I don,t think that I,ve seen them like that before Gee , brilliant , more seeds for the birds :o)
