Strange azalea bloom close-up

Its a very pretty colour, perhaphs someone on Goy will have an explanation as to why its different to the others.!

Homebird - I'm not sure about the green fingers but it was certainly a lovely surprise.

What a lovely colour for an azalia. looks lovely, do you think a bird has propergated a stem with some thing else.

Morgana - I really don't know what's happening with this shrub. I've never seen a bloom like this one before - it's a bloomin' mystery!

The only other thing I can think of has the 2 tone colour over taken the white for some unknown reason.

Maybe Morgana, I'm keeping a close eye on it for more strays!

Thanks Autumn - it was strange seeing this lovely colour in amongst all the pink blooms. There's been a couple more since, so maybe this will happen again next year!
