Thank you, both! was looking at these today...they are toast!...seems that the beetles found them because I've not been in the garden much... the leaves are like lace and the flowers have dropped.... just hope there is enough leaf left to feed the bulb for next season.

Hope I never have to deal with this lily beetle. Glad you were able to get a pic of them before they were destroyed.

Yes, D1....it is ambrosia! it is like coffee ...smells so wonderful you can almost taste it!
