'Fraid she's had a very very busy and stressful morning chasing the flies .....

Does she chase flies ? So does Blodyn- and she eats them. Spiders too lol. Do your other cats do it or just Lupa.? It's only Blodyn I've noticed doing it but Fluffy used to catch grasshoppers and crunch them lol

Aha .... my two chase grasshoppers too, also butterflies and moths (i stop them from doing that when i see it) and daddylonglegs (can never remember their proper name!!!).
They'll watch the odd spider we get (thankfully not many!) and maybe bat it around a bit but not catch and eat it, ugh! :)

Now that you make me think of it Hywel, I think it is only Lupa who chases and eats flies. Sleepy chases them too but there again, being a kitten, she chases anything that moves. Another speciality of Lupa are lizards - she'll eye them up for ages and then pounce... !!!

Yes, Hywel little lizards that scoot about or bask on the hot rocks in my little garden - they usually end up tail-less when she's around (altho' I've heard they can grow back again...)
