Beautiful colour, Ian. Incredible how it's holding the water there.

It is pretty amazing Gee, they look so fragile yet they never seem to flinch in the rain! This one is just outside my livingroom window so when I can't get out there and I'm not on GoY I can sit there and watch them all.

I'm proud of you, Ian! Flowers - and you're looking at them, as well! AND you know the latin name, too! :-)))
Is that a Penstemon I can see far left?
7 Aug, 2009
I believe that is one of the ones you sent me B. Penstemon - Garnet.
I must admit to keeping the labels in a box beside the pc for easy reference but this one never had a label so yes I have learnt the name of at least one plant. :~))))))))
7 Aug, 2009
It looks great - it has definitely grown! If you want to show off, it has another name - in German - but most people can't remember it, so mostly it's called 'Garnet'.
How about Penstemon 'Andenken an Friedrich Hahn' for a name?? No? I thought you'd prefer to stick with 'Garnet'!! LOL.
7 Aug, 2009
Yeah, Garnet it is then Lol :~))
7 Aug, 2009
Aren't garnets red?????? I'm confussssed again!!
7 Aug, 2009
Yes...The Penstemon called 'Garnet' is a deep red colour, but Ian's plant isn't in flower, yet, as it's a baby one.
7 Aug, 2009
AH! thanks for clarifying that! I lost track (again!). :~}

Thank you :~))
7 Aug, 2009
Now I'M confused! If you've got it, why is it on your wish-list??
8 Aug, 2009
Errrrrrrrrrm, I'm confused as well, I have no idea why I wrote that last night.
Unless I meant another OFF my wish list ? ? ?
