I always cut these back after they've flowered earlier in the summer and they come back at this time for another flowering about now !

I love Cistus, their flowers are just gorgeous and the evergreen foliage means some colour there through winter too.
Alice, i've got 'Silver Pink' aswell and it also repeats after it's had 'the chop' !
Gunner, it's their papery flowers that i like so much :)

My 'Silver Pink' gave up the ghost this year - I planted a new one, 'cos I liked it so much!

They are brilliant little shrubs aren't they Louise? Have you ever taken cuttings, they are so easy and quick to get established. I took loads a few years back and now lots of my customers have them in their gardens and are very pleased with them. I only give plants away to my favourite customers. Usually the sweet old girls who make me a cup of tea!!!!!
