New Annuals Border

Never tried this here before and don't usually "do" annuals except in tubs / hanging baskets, but designated this are to dahlias, pot mums and asters this year to try something different.

The floppy looking plants are my potatoes! Also been growing broccolli, cabbage and Brussels Sprouts to move into other parts of the garden. But the salad crop have done well here!

Much nicer today though as the wind has died down and the sun's out again! Yes it's a good garden to sit and muse in - there are various areas for doing that... but only if the weather is dry!
Have lifted some of these plants now to try and overwinter them... just left the Chrysanthemums for the moment as they are flowering their sox off!
