Lonegardener - this particular variety (and I'm not sure what it's called - have to do more research) will flower through winter over here adding much needed colour at that rather dull time of year.

Most Kalanchoe blossfeldiana hybrids bloom 2 or 3 times a year. They bloom in Spring or Summer and in late Fall and Winter. The heaviest blooms seem to be in late Fall and Winter here though.

This is lovely it's my favourite colour.
