This is one of the older kookaburras in the family that lives around here and he doesn't fly off when he hears me coming anymore - just sits and does what he wants to really!

He's the only one that comes in to sit on the staircase railing - all the youngsters stay up in the trees. It's a bit special that he feels safe enough to come in this close to us.

Bless he know you won't do him any harm, I over the years have always taken notice of animals with people as they seem to be able to tell the bad from the good without you realising your self
