The candle formed on the night I added this mans picture to the wall, he is the man who introduced me to the Buddhist way , prior to this addition I had spent many months seeking refuge and a spiritual guide without finding one, in meditation his face kept reccuring to me so I added the pic and the result you can see..

Ooooh lovely ones M, feel like I'm back on a path I had forgotten. It's 'the harder I look the less I see', it takes a little distance to clear the view sometimes x

I was the same, & had stopped even attempting to meditate since I moved to Perth. Now the phone's off before 11, & just taking that hour out of the mundane makes such a difference!

Ah, yes, well I can see that it might affect you like that, sorry you had that experience...or it could be that it's exactly what you need to do, if you become an experienced swimmer then it's unlikely that you'll ever be in trouble in the water. Maybe you'll learn to enjoy it again (especially as you're now slim enough to put twiggy to shame), can I hear you rummaging for that bikini?

Bikini? No chance of that yet!! aint putting Twiggy to shame by any means! My doctor told me I'm obese!!
It's a long story but I can swim if I'm alone, but not if anyone is anywhere near me!

Doctors...how can you be obese when you've just lost 3 stone...think your doc needs glasses!
Negative experiences can effect us profoundly M. Got into 'deep water' myself once...now I get the screaming abdab's if my head goes under. I wonder what it is that tells an otherwise a fairly rational person to breath in underwater when they get ducked, I do realise that's not such a good idea as I don't have gills!
Love quiet swimming though, favourite thing to do is just float effortlessly on my back and contemplate the stars, but I can only do it when I'm completely relaxed.
So it's quite simple really, all we need is our very own private pool, do you do the lottery ?
