Well I too was expecting to find the Scarlet Lilly Beetle, but I might have known it was the nasty slugs! they have really targetted my garden this year including your Hollyhock plants Amy, but I still have a few with some leaves left, so I am still living in hope!
Amy, Laura is 20 now can't believe it though, how old is Elloise?

I thought it was the beetle too. I have quite a few lilies, and slugs and snails too but they don't bother with my lilies at all..
