Oh ~ my lap-top suddenly goes off-line at around 10 pm most nights, and refuses to re-connect! How annoying is that?

That would REALLY bug me!!

To my shame, I call husband and he can usually get it back but only usually - some nights , it just refuses!

It's all down to changing to BT recently...a BIG mistake!

So we're back to AAAAAAAAAARRRRRGGGGGH! then!
My work changed to BT, nightmare, especially when it crashes in the middle of documents or important emails etc.

I'm not very fond of any of the large Gladdies and this is definitely not my cup of tea. Some of the small ones aren't bad but I can live without any of them.

Well, at least SOMEONE agrees with me! They were in a mixed box of bulbs given to me when I joined the RHS...I didn't have a clue what colour they'd be.

I have a few gladdies but not too many and they are in clumps not in rows.

I shall HAVE to try to dig it up and move it across to the hot border - the pale yellow one can stay!

Good. The advice is to plant in odd numbers, 3, 5 or even 7 of the same plant in a clump. They definitely look better like that, even bright Gladioli!

I moved it this afternoon - over to the 'hot' border, along with the pale yellow one and two others that I think may also be 'bright' ones. I did the same last year with the orange ones, and they survived! Fingers crossed...

Sorry Spritz I love the colour, I am going the Christopher Lloyd way of gardening, after being tasteful and pale I want excitement and a wow.lol

You really will have to come and visit, Dd...I don't do 'pale and interesting', although I like a few white flowers in a bed, to 'lift' it...

Right you are then.........have been watching open gardens on the television, husband inspired now, wants to get in the book..........thought the garden was too small, obviously not compared to some we have seen on the TV.

Go for it, Dd!! :-))) The assessment is not nearly as scary as they make it out to be on those programmes!
