I didn't know about the Gardeners' World thing either. Am growing Cosmos sulphureous "Ladybird Scarlet" from seed this year (all dloing well right now).

I sowed some seeds in trays in my kitchen today.
Have virtually no experience of growing from seeds.
I may be messaging you for advice if they turn into seedlings ! LOL.

Thanks for your encouragement.
Some seeds I am soaking, then I've got to file them a bit to get them started.
Have you ever done that ?
Scarifying ?
I'm not sure how deep to go into the centre of the seeds ?

i just scrape the surface till i see the green flesh of the seed,just enough to let the moisture in,I have done this with lupins....

I love Cosmos i usually sow mine about may time they last ages and so cheap for a packet of seeds.
