thanks ... it remindes me a bit of a fire works display... i think i like it better in the pots this year than when i had it in the beds last year... maybe a bit of both is the answer!

it is a great impact in the pot, like you asid a firework display, i have lots i just litterally threw under the trees till i knew where to pop them but they look great where they are, looking so colourfull, but i may pinch your idea if i may and put some in pot :o)

MUCH more sensible to keep them in a pot - I had to dig out masses of them, as they'd tried a take-over bid in the border! lol.

i did the same spritz but they still keep coming back, have mine under the trees now to brighten it up

You should see the stream bank, Sandra! They've spread really far along it - I shall have to try to dig some out...with difficulty!
You are right - they do come back - I took a clump out of the front garden, but there are still orange heads there now...more digging, when they've stopped flowering.

on going i think spritz

Yes - you've only got to miss a small corm, and they're back!

we thought we had them all when we did raised bed but i can see some at the back but cant get to them without standing on any plants, so will have to wait a while

That's so frustrating! You'll have to take a photo to remind yourself exactly where they are.

This is beautiful, The idea of 'Planting them in a pot' is just on-time for me,because I am about to add them in my garden. Thanks every one in the conversation. It was very helpful for me.

i think the key advice here is Shapla... DONT add them into your garden unless you want only them in your garden lol... i have 3 varieties... the other 2 are yellow which are much easier to control... some are worse than others... i do have some of this one in the beds as well. i just dig up what i don't want and sell it on or give it away in swaps... i find it has it's uses.... everyone seems to like it dispite it's very naughty behavour....
