More pumpkins

Yummy. I love pumpkins.

Well, hopefully I may get one or two to eat and one or two to carve. I usually buy pumpkins every halloween for carving, the kids absolutely love them! Thats what inspired me to try and grow my own this year. Having never been successful at growing anything else, I usually kill things off, I am really trying my best here. I like pumpkin soup too and i will definately have a go at making some should I get the desired results. Just got to keep an eye out for those pesky slugs! I have seen some photos on the net where the pumpkins are growing on hay/straw, would this benefit me, anyone know?
