Glad you like this, Mp!

A subtitle for this I chose was "Welcome to my (chocolate) Nightmare!".

But, then, calories don't pose a problem avec moi!!!!!!! :-)

Alright for some!

That looks quite silvery for a bronze Phormium, is it really or just the light ?
I love the bronze Phormiums :)

It was the camera flash (again), Louise :-(

I have problems with getting pics of many of our dark-coloured plants, as the camera decides that it is evening, lol! I've almost given up trying to get "real colour" pics of some of ours - but won't! :-)

Good !

A beautiful sheen on the leaves, flash or no flash, David.

Ribbons of chocolate: yum. What have you planted with this?

Carex comans "Milk Chocolate", "chocolate" Cosmos and Aquilegia "Chocolate Soldier", Orgratis. Does it sound even yummier now?

:-)

I'd STILL like to see a shot of the whole garden, David, pretty please! Is that possible? Maybe from a window? The roof? lol.

Or a great glass elevator? Haha! Well, I'll try, but not today, as the rain is pouring down and it's quite dark (at 10.00am). Not much more to show, though, really, as the whole is only 30' X 17', lol! :-)

But it would be interesting, David, to see all of it at once! I KNOW it's small, but it will be 'perfectly formed' to coin a phrase.

21 Sep, 2009

LOL! You could sit on the roof or summat, David!

21 Sep, 2009

Poor David - he's told me it's not possible! However, there's always a helicopter...or a hot air ballooon...LOL.

LOL!

The problem is that a tree in the next garden has decided it likes mine better., and has stretched over so far that it obscures the garden view totally from an upstiars window. Will have to get out there with my ladder and loppers. Yes, Barbara, it is okay to removed any branches on my side of the fence. Should strictly throw them back over the fence to the neighbours, I wouldn't think they'd even notice if I did; they are definitely not gardeners or even outdoor types.

I like chocolate mixed with raspberry, and froth of whipped cream/ chantilly. There are oriental lilies, Chambertin and Stargazer, for exp, that are raspberry coloured in not so named, and a jasmine vine called "Clotted Cream", a miniature rose Whipped Cream, or the candytuft, some Baby's Breath to weave. Got a little unnamed phormium yesterday with pink & brown (& green): the Pink Stripe I'm growing is too grey.

Thank You for those "goodies", Orgratis. I'm going to investigate further, here. The rose "Whipped Cream" would be perfect, as whipped cream is mentioned in the story behind our theme. :-))

Will try to find the name of your Phormium for you.
