Chocolate Cosmos and Sedum

I like the dark of the Cosmos against the leaves of the Sedum, it looks better in real life...honest!!

Not considered so in the UK. Under one of my pics of it, I said that I was about to either collect the seeds now, by cutting the dead flowerheads with their stems, and hang them uspide down in a brown paper bag in the shed; or, dig up, repot the plants and keep in a frost-free place. May try both - definitely need to do something this far north.
If picking the flowerheads, make sure they are totally dry, not damp after rain, or they will just rot. -

Oh thanks for that David will collect seed for next year then, i didn't think they were but thought i'd just check!

Doreen, of Doreensgarden, commented to me under one of her pics, that she covered them with a mulch last winter,, then a double layer of fleece, and they survived where she is (can't remember offhand). I can't do that, so will have to do as I planned. Good Luck with the seed. :-)

Well, goes without saying that the cosmos is a favourite here, but teaming it with the creamy white sedum is genius. Added to my faves. :-)
