Hawkshead I believe is a hardy fuchsia I used to have it in my garden in South Wales it looks really lovely.

I can grow it then....that's good...like it's form and colour. Looks like a swan taking off...lol

Yes white horse Hawkshead it is a smallish variety of fuchsia but looks great.I grew one as a small (1/4) standard many years ago.

I love Fuchsias 2 Davey& have just over 20 different1s now :)Bonkers has a Very Large Hawkheads which looks fab :) I brough this as a Plug Plant in Jan i think San ? Im glad u like it :)

Ud of Laughed Jane /Ray i was shopping once in Morrisons Super Market
& walked past the News Paper /Mags bit& saw a Pic Of The Bull Dog & without thinking just went OOOOOOOOOoooo Yes out really loud LMAO & My Son told me off lol :)

ive had a look jacque, great, so do i let them go a bit brown before taking off plant or just take them now and let them dry out, i tried with my victoria louise poppy but it went to dust :o((

Strange winter just gone - we had this last year & moved it to the top courtyard, which is sheltered & good for the more tender plants, & lost it!!
Yet one of the tender varieties in a hanging basket sprang back into life in the spring despite having been put down the bottom (more exposed) part of the garden!
