Does this look like yours? The flowers have opened up a bit more now and the perfum is stronger. I've always loved this one - I love it even more now I've discovered it has a scent!

No, I got it with a load of others for about 10p each when I worked on a nursery one summer and they were clearing out old stock. Nothing was labed unfortunately - good bargains tho!!

Sounds like my kind of job Sid !
I got to thinking after posting something about this hosta on my post, that your flowers may open more fully due to more rain...it's possible. Could be the same one after all.

Do the flowers look more or less the right size?

This is the same as mine which is Royal Standard, reading from my Hosta book "Leaves large, puckered when mature, funnel-shaped flowers lilac tinted buds the best fragrant white occasionally semi-double,smells best in the evenings.

Thanks for the info Dotty! I read your comment while at work and had to come home to see if the buds were really lilac tinged and, yes, they were just a bit. They also look what you might call semi-double don't they. I will look up some pictures. Thanks again :-)
