Lovely! The birds(herons?) look (from this angle) like they have Peacock tail feathers with the grass behind!!

I would love a tree fern Skillen. I was going to say that I dont think one would survive here but then I realise you are in Glasgow so I've got no excuse really.

Today I wrapped it in fleece and covered the crown with leaves Dawn,but last year I didn't do anything with it and it was a very cold winter. I'm sure you would be able to grow it where you are!

That's interesting Skillen. Maybe I should put one on my Santa list.
