Well very few people would ever see them, the window looks out over a side path that isn't used as much as the path that goes alongside the front of the block of flats. The plants wouldn't be visible from that path anyway.

Just the same way you would water them if there were just a couple! I take a 2lt bottle of water into the bedroom & then pour a little water into each pot - I may have to repeat the process a couple of times as some pots are so full of compost the water runs off it or there's very little space.
