This is a photo of the Amaryllis seedlings in 5" pots in my bedroom window. I don't really expect these to flower next year as they are smaller than those in 6" pots in the kitchen window.

There are no gods or little fishes here!
They have been there most of this year & will stay there during the winter & until they flower which I don't think will happen next year. I shall have to buy some more 6" pots to put these into next spring & hope they bulk up enough to flower the following year.

If you think there are a lot here there are still more outside on the balcony! I don't know yet where I'm going to put them when I have to bring them in!! I only sowed about half the seeds I got. I fertilized the flowers myself with the pollen from the different flowers. I did the same one year when I lived in Spain but couldn't get any of the seeds to germinate so when I tried this time I was embarrassed by the amount of seeds that germinated! I don't think I've lost many either!
I wrote a blog on Amaryllis seedlings if you are interested.

You did really well with this lot, then!!

Can't wait to see what colours you'll get.

I really like the way you "stack" them, Balcony. Never would have thought of doing something like this. :-)

When you are short on space it's surprising what ideas you can come up with! That's why I have Busy Lizzies in wall pouches & Fuchsias in hanging baskets & Geraniums on the central cross piece of our balcony railings as well as Snapdragons in clay pots, in aluminium rings I brought back with me from the years I lived in Spain, on the top rail of the balcony railings!
Did I forget those that are on the floor of the balcony & those on the table? Then there's the greenhouse shelving that I'm using at present to support my tomatoes! Lol!
Bernieh, I'm also dying to see what the results will be! Hopefully sometime next year I'll find out! Rest assured that I shall post photos of them here just as soon as they begin to flower.

Phew, I could scarcely keep up with you there, lol! :-)

Goodness me, you may only have a small balcony B, but what a lot you get in there. These are amazing, it will be good fun waiting to see what colour they come out as. I can't believe the amount you can get on there...... o:)

Pamazon, the photo of the Amaryllis seedlings was taken of my bedroom window. They have lived there for months now & will continue to live there until they flower. I have no where else to put them!
They may possibly go out onto my balcony next year but I don't know if there will be room for them!
