Beautiful colour!

Just trying to 'kill' mine off again to see if I can get it to flower for a third time in a year!
It's just set an offset this time too.

In all the years I've grown them I've never known them to flower three times in a year! They can't possibly built up enough energy for that!

When you mention an "offset" do you mean the bulb itself has produced it? The one that appears to already have flowered twice?

It's a beauty isn't it? I see that there is an Amaryllis called 'Pamela' a deep red one, I have decided to give it a go this Autumn!

As long as it flowers by the 20th December that'll make it 3 times in a year (maybe that is stretching the rules a bit).
Caught me out when it flowered so soon again.
The offset came from the same bulb. I bought it in Amsterdam a couple of years ago.

Well I wish you all the luck in the world! I imagine that it's a pretty big bulb.

You could pot up the offshoot & grow it on for a year or two till it reaches flowering size. I used to do that all the time when I grew mostly the red ones in my balconies in Spain.

I'll post up a pic when it does flower again, it's a real eyecatcher!
It's a very big bulb, probably 5" in diameter now.
Probably need to repot it after it's flowered.

I've never had a bulb that big! Even the bulbs that flowered with so many flowers last year were never as big as that!

If you ever go to Amsterdam go to the flower market. You'll be in Amaryllis heaven!!
