Thank you so much milky. This is my first year I had it to turn red, but still waiting for the core to change colour as well. Wll take another picture if the core changes colour blueish / purple ........ :-)

First year for me too Louis, I just noticed yesterday about a half inch going red hahaha.. Lovely Spikey plant..

That's good news Youngdaisydee........it must be a good year for them. It's such a lovely plant :-) before you know it, it will be covered in red !!!!!!

Louis is this a tender plant, as I have not heard of it before.

Ive overwintered mine in the Ghouse DD, but i do live in the Northeast!

Hi Dottydaisy2 and Youngdaisydee.......... I live mine in the ground all year round, it's quite hardy actually. A friend of mine, also lives his on the ground as well. This plant has been covered in frost and snow and survived....... :-)

mine survived our snow last winter. but im not sure about colder places. it would have the best chance in free-draining soil in a sunny position. they are amazing...getting redder by the min.

That's right Sandra, getting more red, and even the center is changing from white to pink, but don't think it will be warm enough to change to purple / mauve colour.

I have just posted, another picture of this Visicularia Bicolour that I have just taken. The center is changing colour from white to pinkish mauve.

I don't blame you Dottydaisy2, because it is such a beautiful plant. I have two, and might even get another one, or split one of them. It took me three years to see it change colour, but it was worth the wait for sure....... :-)

This is the first year mine has changed colour...it was a great surprise Louis....Mine is in a pot and stays out all year round......:>)
