Squirrel on my motheaten cherry tree

This morning I saw our resident squirrel eating one of my plastic bird feeders, again. When I got close it scrambled back up one of the braches and leaped for it's life onto the fence. It had a final look at me before jumping to the ground on the other side. My poor cherry tree is not in the best condition to say the least. I have promised myself to take some time to look after it and get it looking looked after.

He is, well, he is here everyday and doesn't care if we are in the garden. It's only if we walk towards him, he decides to scamper away. He had chewed yet another bird feeder the other day, found the bottom of it on the floor.
