Heuchera 'Dales Strain'

I have this one Spritz.... it is lovely.... very relaiable, and one of my favorites.... i'll just check my record and see if i can confirm if this is americana....back in a mo....

.... yep i have it listed as americana... and i bought mine from a reliable sorce ... on ebay...but knows her stuff.... Joan from choice plants i may have mentioned her before... she is not usually wrong... have you seen this one in flower Spritz?...... mine was lovely this year..... as i remeber it has good autumn colour too.... i bought another new one recently very simular to this but with smaller leaves it is called 'ring of fire' and as i understand it the outer leaves turn bright red in autumn creating a ring around the plant.... mmmm we shall see......

mine cost a fortune.... :-( mind you not last year the year before... when newly introduced... and it is very reliable Spritz...it will die back a bit in winter, and you may think oh! where you gone? but it does come back with a vengance and bigger and better right the way through the spring summer and autumn so yes you have a good one! it's one of my favorites.... i lost my lime green one :-( i have pulled out a couple of crowns and tried to revive them but not looking hopeful.... :-( i think it got too much sun...i will definately be getting another one i love the colourig sooooo much but i will plant it in a shader spot next time...

it's going in the border where the comfrey was - so plenty of shade there.
