That is the Mckinley Village resort I worked at. There were only two buildings just 12 years ago. On this side is the Grizzly Bear Campground we were staying at.

Lol. You know, Rhodea, the first grizzly I came face to face with was right on the street at this crossroad! Just about 8 feet from me. I think He was grazing for berries. Wasn't interested in me at all.

He probably ate enough already.

I wouldn't mind attracting them, I'm very fascinated by them. I love having run ins. Though further south, the black bears there are much more aggrasive. I will stick with my grizzly visits, bigger, but much more easy going.

I think the secret ingredient to attracting them is... fear.
I'm sure they can smell it a mile away.I'm afraid of cows too, and they know it.
I had a run-in with a moose on an acreage one time.He ran one way and I ran the other.Their magnificent animals, and I respect them .

Well you should. They fear nothing. I do believe that is true. Like pets know the one person who doesn't like them, that is where they will be.
