Finally - the first bloom on my variegated impatiens

Lovely foliage and such a pretty flower too.

These Impatiens are the easiest plants to grow here in CA.
They bloom all year here in San Diego and grow very quickly.

Are bugs eating the buds? That may be the reason why it's not blooming well.

No Delonix - I've been checking and have found nothing. Another bud opened today, so maybe everything's fine now and whatever was causing the problem has disappeared.

Aha - that was it. Thanks Homebird. It's now producing more and more - so it's obviously over whatever the problem was before!

my daughter has some of these in her front garden When we went to see her a few weeks ago I took a cutting as we left. I put it in my jacket pocket & of course when we got back home I'd forgotten all about it! The next morning I suddenly remembered it. I did put it in some water but it was too late, it just died on me. :(

That's a shame Balcony - maybe next time! They're a lovely thing.
