Well done Mum - what's her hourly rate?

what a lovely mum youve got,a love of gardening runs in the family then.

Yes Sue she's as fit as a fiddle and has mega green fingers, she grows all herown fruit veg grapes tomatoes - the list goes on. She comes in october and cuts back all my shrubs.
She's quite cheap Bernieh all you have to do is feed her cups of tea,but I do look after her - I'm taking her to Florence next week.

Sounds like you've got an amazing lady for your mum. Hope you both have a ball in Florence.

What a lovely garden, it looks perfect including the lawn. Your Mum must be amazing and as you say fit as a fiddle.
I hope the hot weather in Florence isn't too much for her. I have relatives out there and it has been terribly hot.

Thanks Mad - we're just back from Florence and had a lovely holiday. The weather was hot but she managed to stay in the shade quite a bit. We walked for miles and had a lovey hotel outside the city to relax.

Beautiful ivy too! I hope my daughter has a garden one day and lets me do it for her! I would love that! I can just picture myself out in her garden with my grandchildren sowing sunflower seeds!!....ah, we can dream!
