yes its been lovely, leaves and all amy :o)

amy i read up on rust, its a fungi, if you get this you must cut all stems right down in autumn before leaves drop and discard all stems and leaves, if you dont it will repeat itself next year because its left in the plant soil, also if any mallow weed that must be distoyed as it tranfers to hollyhock plant, then hopefully next year will be clear

thanx janey i read if you cut them right back at the end of summer and tak leaves and all it may come back the next year, but have to clear everything so as not to go into soil otherwise will infect plant again

I've tried these this year but they're just not growing - any idea why they just wont take off? Yours are stunning and I'm jealous ;o)

i started mine in the house then once the last frost went i repotted into larger pots, once stronger into the ground, they are normally easy as dont mind dry conditions and any soil really. fed them once a week when in bigger pots and once when i planted them out, thats it really. these were my best ones yet, thankyou :o)
