Grandsons sunflower

Lovely Sunflower, LL! How high has it grown?

I grew some Sunflowers. a Gardener's World plant trail, a few years ago. Even though they were growing on my balcony, in flower troughs, they still managed to get to a couple of metres high! You can see them in My Garden. I also grew some when I was a boy in London.

When I lived in Spain you could see fields of Sunflowers for miles & miles in every direction! Really lovely to look at as they all face the same way & were gorgeous to behold! Not nearly as interesting though once the flowers had set seed!
