A lovely border and the silver birch adds that extra special touch to show it off ........

We inherited the silver birch, but it was being strangled by ivy and the branches were on the ground. We raise its crown by giving it an annual "haircut", so as to provide light to the rest of the bed. I agree it does contribute a lot to the garden, and birds love it.
