These little monsters a whole tray of salad leaves in my greenhouse! I didn't spot them until it was too late.

It's just nature, and without these little creatures that are part of the feeding chain, many other creatures would find it hard to exist, and think about the beauty of the butterfly. The butterfly is a pollinater going from flower to flower to feed.

Yes Linda, it was a dilemma as they were munching their way through my whole tree, and yet I didn't want to kill them as they turn into butterflies, all be it cabbage whites! Where they went when they were finished I don't know, but with watering and feeding the tree has recovered from the shock.

The wasps take the caterpillars when they are small.
