I have lived here 8 years (moved from near London) and have never seen snow like it down here - car stuck in the driveway and the whole of our town is on a hill so it was pretty scary (and amusing) seeing the cars and people sliding around! My poor garden suffered and I lost many of my succulent type plants, the palm tree is bigger than ever though!
