It was dry this morning, so I planted Photinia 'Little Red Robin' (I got this two years ago!) and some bright red pansies - the pot doesn't look too good at the moment, but it will once the pansies grow and flower.

I do hope so, Clarice! The pansies are in bud, and are small plants at the moment.

Do you know Barbara some of my spring & summer ones i pulled most of them out as they had gone all leggy, but one pot i just cut them down low & they are starting to flower again, if they do grow ok i'll take some photos to show you, i think they are going to be alright, and if so i'll be doing it with some more when they look pass there sell by date.

I've heard that before! That's great!
The one at the back of the pot is actually one I kept from last year...I stuck some into a spare pot, and this one survived. :-))
