He certainly is, I recall when I was 4 seeing one fly down of the roof of the school and landed on the grass ourside the classroom window and going home telling my mum there was a giant bird at school today, funny how children see all things larger

We've got a few round here San, you can hear them early am and late pm squarking out to each other, as if to say "This is my patch, keep out !"
Watched one once when I'd put some bread on top of the garage. He took a piece, brought it down to the Birdbath, dropped it in for a few seconds and then ate it !! Big softy !! haha

sorry sue must have got crossed wires then, missed you, lol they do like their bread wet sue, i soak it for all the birds, grandad taught me that, said it helps them if no water around to drink, or they get very thirsty, lol, so they all get the best treatment here now hehehe

Them or something like them hang around the carparks at asda, when i see them i walk long way around them, never look very freindly to me.

they are quite friendly carol, well these were, just move on if you go to close

These dont you know that side of asda where allied carpets is they are there, dont know if there same birds, but they are big black things, and there is quite a few of them sometimes, they remind me of something out of a Alfred Hitchcock film, just going to pop to Donna's to feed her cats and fish while its not raining, oh its the ginger cat you saw on the fence and of cause Tinker, when i'm feeding him he is so sweet and inoccent, till he comes to my garden for the birds, good job i like him.

hahahahahha lol BB great, they look so alike, i will rename it now,:o)

Aye they do Sandra those large grey beaks tell them apart from crows and ravens now quite rare ..I have a sneaky admiration for them as very smart.
Like Morgana live under a rookery even mistle thrushes nested in same tree as rooks so no threat to smaller birds.
Know how Clarice feels when see them lined up on school climbing frames .. spooky.
